Grey Limestone Chippings

Grey Limestone Chippings, are a range of mid to dark colours with very occasional whites and pinks. Because they are an angular stone they knit together well.  This type of limestone is a long lasting and hard wearing gravel and a good alternative to local flint. It is imported via rail head to most areas of the country which mitigates cost unlike other decorative materials. Also known as Priora Chippings and Aquapave chippings, these stones are also the suggested laying material beneath Marshall ® and Formpave ® block paving and other SUDS conforming paving.  Willis and Ainsworth have samples of these chippings at our office in Thatcham.
