What is Type 2 Sub-base? 

Type 2 sub-base (SHW 804) is a professionally blended limestone aggregate combining Type 1 material with scalpings to create a versatile foundation product. Conforming to BS EN 13285 standards, this sub-base provides reliable support for pathways and lighter-duty driveways, offering a middle ground between premium Type 1 and economical scalpings.

There is a 200 tonne minimum delivery on this product. 1 tonne is 1000kg in weight. This material is supplied loose tipped. We can offer this in 20 tonne loads and 28 tonne artic loads.
