Our premium Hardwood Play Chip is tested BS EN 1177 & certified and is ideal for large or small play areas. It is an ideal alternative to Play Bark.

Due to it being a hardwood it is more durable than some other wood based products which can breakdown quickly. Our play grade hardwood chip absorbs impact and can help keep your children safe from trips and falls because of it's light bulky nature. We supply play chip by the cubic metre (m3) and suggest you lay it at around 300mm deep. Please see our critical fall height chart at the bottom.

There is a 1 cubic meter / 1m3 minimum delivery on this product. 1m3 is around 500Kg in weight and the equivalent of 2 x bulk bags in volume. This material is supplied loose tipped however for larger quantities we can offer it by the bulk bag. 

We deliver this loose in bulk 30m3 loads or smaller quantities as low as 1m3. We deliver our wood chipping products to Thatcham, Newbury, Reading and all the surrounding towns and villages around Berkshire, North Hampshire and Southern Oxfordshire.
