What is Horticultural Grit?

Horticultural grit also knowing as a potting grit. It is the ideal product to use with heavy clay base soils, you can mix it in to help with drainage. It is ideal to use for cacti or alpines, where drier conditions are more favourable.

Why use Horticultural Grit?

Using a neutral PH material is important as you can add it to any compost or soil without altering the existing PH of the material.  Due to this material being a crushed granite it is popular for decorating rockeries, water features, hanging baskets and ponds.

What size are you pre packed bags?

Our pre packed bags are 20KG the material is 1-4mm in size. This product can also be used as Joint Grit for patios and Block paving.
