Our standard Woodchip is a general purpose wood chip ideal for your gardens horticultural needs. It is unscreened and a cheaper alternative to Ornamental Woodchip or Woodchip Mulch and other specialist wood based products such as bark. It is ideal to use in Plant bed's, border's or on a foot path. This is often confused as bark chippings or bark mulch however woodchip is different to Bark as it is a less uniform starting colour.

Use Wood Chippings for:

• Garden mulch

• Suppress weeds

• Composting (or mixed with compost to make an organic mulch)

• Woodchip make areas look more attractive, is eco friendly and slowly releases nutrients for plants and soil back into the ground

• It is ideal to use this in your garden during the hot months to help retain moisture in your soil and protect plants.

Very occasionally it can have a little bit of green vegetation in it. This only tends to be if there is low stock of the darker woodchip at certain times of the year.  

There is a 1 cubic meter / 1m3 minimum delivery on this product. 1m3 is around 500Kg in weight and the equivalent of 2 x bulk bags in volume. This material is supplied loose tipped however for larger quantities we can offer it by the bulk bag. 

We deliver this loose in bulk 30m3 loads or smaller quantities as low as 1m3. We deliver our wood chipping products to Thatcham, Newbury, Reading and all the surrounding towns and villages around Berkshire, North Hampshire and Southern Oxfordshire.
