What is Grade B Topsoil?
Grade B topsoil is a 20mm screened economy grade soil suitable for building levels and basic landscaping. While not meeting Grade A standards, it provides adequate growing medium for less demanding applications such as laying turf. Loose tipped delivery offers budget option for large-scale projects however for loads smaller than 3 tonnes it is not worth the extra cost in haulage to collect this material.
Where to use Grade B Topsoil?
Ideal for general landscaping, creating levels, and non-critical planting. Perfect for wildflower meadows and areas being turfed. Suitable for tree planting and robust shrubs. Economical choice for large areas.
Extra Information
If you wanted to use Grade B Soil for anything more it would require improvement with compost for vegetable growing. Variable quality between loads can be expected as it's not as closely quality controlled as other premium soils. This material represents excellent value for the appropriate applications.
