Kennet Flint is a predominantly black, white and grey gravel with a small amount of brown in it. Often called moonstone Kennet Flint looks fresh and clean on drives and is very hard wearing stone. Kennet Flint is currently the most "local" gravel in the Newbury and Thatcham.  It is also from one of the most active quarries in Berkshire. Not to be confused with either the Golden Gravel or the Welshmans Gold or the Bramhill which are the old "local" shingles. It is also known as Moonstone and Thames Valley Flint and local gravel.   Willis and Ainsworth have samples of this gravel in our office in Thatcham.

We deliver small and large loads to Thatcham, Newbury, Reading and all the surrounding towns and villages around Berkshire, North Hampshire and Southern Oxfordshire. To get a quote please call: Thatcham 01635 865679 or Newbury 01635 40009

Please note 2-6mm, 10mm & 20mm Kennet are currently unavailable due to the quarry stopping the production of this material.
