What is 10mm Compost?

Screened compost graded to 10mm provides fine-textured organic matter for soil improvement. This matured, weed-free product enriches soil while being easy to spread and incorporate. Loose tipped delivery suits large and small scale mulching and soil improvement projects.

What is the 10mm grade for?

Screened to remove particles over 10mm. PAS100 certified ensuring quality, maturity, and freedom from weeds. The fine grade allows easy spreading and rapid integration with existing soil.

Where to use 10mm Compost?

Perfect for topdressing lawns, improving borders, and creating seed beds. Ideal for mixing with topsoil to create enriched growing media. Excellent for mulching established plants. Essential for organic gardening and soil improvement programmes.

Extra Information

Fine grade ideal for lawn topdressing without smothering grass. Rich in beneficial microorganisms improving soil health. Best incorporated in autumn or spring. It may be slightly acidic when mixing with new plants however this calms down after 5-10 days and plants return to normal colours if they have turned yellow initially. Lay this material 50-100mm deep for effective mulching.

There is a 1 M3 minimum delivery on this product. This material is supplied loose tipped however for other larger quantities we can offer it by the bulk bag (minimum 10 bags). We can offer this in 40 M3 loads and 90 M3 artic loads.

We deliver this loose in bulk 8 M3 loads or smaller quantities as low as 1 M3. We deliver our high quality 20mm Welshmans to Thatcham, Newbury, Reading and all the surrounding towns and villages around Berkshire, North Hampshire and Southern Oxfordshire.
