0-4mm Limestone dust is an excellent binding dust and is often used to help bind 40mm Scalpings or MOT Type 1 together if they are slightly stonier than required or have been down for a long time and the dust has washed away.

It is sometimes used under sports turf and astro turf pitches. Petanque terrains and boules courts benefit greatly from using 0-4mm Limestone or Granite dust as it makes a perfect top surface to play on.
