Rail (Track) Ballast

Track Ballast is used for railways. It's both above and underneath railroad ties to secure the ground and stop the tracks from moving under the weight of the trains. It is also used as a weed suppressant to help stop unwanted vegetation growing through the railways. It's usually a granite based material but can occasionally be a limestone. We can supply this material in bulk bags and loose tipped.
